Family Reunion - Utah - July 2010
Family Picture - we really need to have more pics of the reunion - good thing Mom/Nana had lots taken - we'll have to share them!

Eis anyone?
Corin enjoying some Eis (ice cream) - his favorite treat. His wound has healed remarkably well in 4 months - the scar is fading nicely
"Don't Bug Me!" The boys' favorite phrase, and their favorite PJ's
Alex's "Invention Convention" project - he had a great idea, and wouldn't you say he's quite an artist? Ok, but he did provide the idea, while Brad & I can make quite an impressive Great Wall of China project. :)
Alex earning the "Attitude Is Everything" award
Katie earning the "Attitide is Everything" award as well as the Principal's List award for all A's
Alex receiving his Basketball Belt Loop from the Phoenix Suns' mascot, the Gorilla
Our first family campout! We went up south of Flagstaff and we were frozen! The lows got down to freezing, while we were used to near 100* in Phoenix.
Cub Scout Camp! A sea of orange boys....
what do boys like - BB Guns & ....
Archery! They let the parent leaders try these out after the boys had a few turns; I didn't try the BB gun as I've never touched a gun before, but the Archery was fun - reminded me of gym class in high school....

Finally finished!
Our front landscaping is finally finished - at least until I have another idea, but not until fall when it's not so hot
here is what it used to look like - not bad, just wanted it different....

Happy Easter!
HEY! Where are our treats????!!!!
You'll have to search for them this year.... :)
lots of treats and toys....
You look like you have too many, I'll just have a few......
Found another!
everyone is happy (and about to have a major sugar rush)....
Yum! Chocolate!

Field Trip!
Katie's school class was going on a field trip this day to see a high school musical entitled "Urine Town" and since it sounded completely disgusting, I decided to have our own field trip; we went to the cannery and canned our own food storage, went to the Natural History Museum, then to the Mesa AZ Temple grounds to eat our lunch, then a tour through the visitors center. I'd say this was much more educational that that musical. Sometimes I really wonder about the quality of the schools....
taking a scenic drive on the Apache Trail - 10 April 10
such a beautiful, scenic drive....
Katie in front of Canyon Lake....
now the road is dirt (very bumpy) for 20+ miles....
some harrowing skinny turns (this is 2-way) with cliff drop-offs... FUN (except for Alex who was panicked for the scary first 5-10 miles)....
lots of 1-lane bridges...
... now Katie is panicked (rather she's just a cute little actress)....
almost at the end of the dirt road - 22 miles and 2 hours later..... then it's a long (distance & time) drive back the completely paved route
